Department: Social DevelopmentIn addressing challenges of social distress, the department will be building conscious and capable communities in the Eastern Cape as stable, healthy families are at the heart of strong societies. 1.6 The Acts, rules and regulations The mandate of the department is derived from the Constitution, sections 27 and 28 of the country.
