Manage the supply and demand of teachers as well as the utilisation, resourcing, and provision of high-quality school infrastructure in the Eastern Cape. 1.4 Main Services %u25cf Resourcing and delivering high quality education by empowering all students to becomeresponsible members of the society by equipping them to them with skills, knowledge and valuesand information that seeks to advance the growth of the individual as well as the widercommunity at large.%u25cf Increase efforts to guarantee that Early Childhood Development (ECD) centers are registered,which will ensure that ECD is universalised, thus paying special attention to learners who areenrolled in Grade RR and Grade R.%u25cf Continuous improvement in pass rates for Languages and Mathematics in the GeneralEducation and Training (GET) Band %u2013 Grades 1 to 9 to achieve 90, per cent by 2030.%u25cf Ensure that learners can read and write by fully implementing the Reading Strategy andstrengthen training of teachers on reading methodologies.328
