                                    Overview of the Provincial Revenue and Expenditure (OPRE %u2013 2025/26)by national for the wage agreement amounting to R3.103 million in 2025/26 and R10.425 million over the 2025 MTEF. Also, R2.197 million in 2025/26 and R11.598 million over the 2025 MTEF was allocated for the operational costs of the establishment of the new MEC%u2019s office. Furthermore, there are allocations made to the public entities as follows: %uf0b7 R105.640 million to the Eastern Cape Development Corporation (ECDC) in 2026/27, whichconsist of R50 million for Economic Development Fund (EDF), R30.640 million for MSMESupport (Recapitalisation), R21 million for film fund productions and R4 million for Localgovernment economic development and trade and investment promotion support (focusingon 6-10 municipalities per annum).%uf0b7 R14.471 million for Eastern Cape Parks and Tourism Agency (ECPTA) in 2026/27, whichconsist of R7.800 million for access and internal roads upgrade of 58 km of roads andR6.671 million for game fencing upgrades of 70 km at 6 reserves.As part of the funding for servicing sites connected with Broadband, the department has a reduction in its budget baseline of R8.245 million in 2025/26 and R17.957 million over the 2025 MTEF. The slow progress with the implementation of the Budget Facility for Infrastructure (BFI) projects at Coega Development Corporation (CDC) resulted in the reprioritisation and rescheduling of funds over the MTEF to ensure there is alignment between the allocated funding and projected cash flows based on the rollout of the project. The original allocated amounts were R848 million in 2025/26, R307 million in 2026/27 and R115 million in 2027/28. With the rescheduling and reprioritisation, the final allocations for the BFI funding for the CDC is R303.169 million in 2025/26, R571.247 million in 2026/27 and R827.584 million in 2027/28. Funding provided from the provincial reserves for provincial priorities amounts to R161.830 million in 2025/26 and R120.118 million in 2027/28, which is for the following public entities: %uf0b7 R116.400 million in 2025/26 and R102 million in 2027/28 for ECDC as follows:o R50 million each in 2025/26 and 2027/28 for Economic Development Fund (EDF).o R20 million in 2025/26 and R30 million in 2027/28 for MSME Support(Recapitalisation).o R15 million in 2025/26 and R18 million in 2027/28 for film fund productions.o R4 million each in 2025/26 and 2027/28 for Local government economic developmentand trade and investment promotion support (6-10 municipalities per annum).o R20.400 million in 2025/26 for AIDC to undertake the Automotive Aftermarket Supportfor MSMEs (for 102 auto sector MSME businesses in acquiring tools, equipment,machinery and access to markets).o R7 million in 2025/26 for AIDC to host the 2025 National Association of AutomotiveComponent and Allied Manufacturers (Nacaam) Show.%uf0b7 R45.430 million in 2025/26 and R11.118 million in 2027/28 for ECPTA as follows:o R8 million in 2025/26 and R8.200 million in 2027/28 for access and internal roadsupgrade of 58 km of roads.o R5.410 million in 2025/26 and R9.918 million in 2027/28 for game fencing upgrades of70 km at 6 reserves.o R14.138 million in 2025/26 for maintenance of tourist accommodation, facilities,campsites, offices, staff accommodation.o R2.3 million in 2025/26 for SMART marketing efforts.70
