8.1 Programme 1: Administration
Objectives: To conduct the overall management and administrative support of the department.
The programme consists of two sub-programmes.
x Office of the MEC: Provide administrative, client liaison and support service to the members of the
Executive Council.
x Corporate Services: Rendering of an internal and external communication and marketing service,
manage the overall administration of the department which includes financial management, human
resource management and development, registry, messenger services, legal administration and
transport services.
